Frequently Asked Questions

I'm interested in booking a photo session. What is the process?

I try to make everything as breezy as possible - from the scheduling, to the photo shoot, to the delivery of the photos.

First, contact me by phone, text, email: andrea@tulajunephotography.com, or via message on the website homepage. 

I will want to know what type of a photo shoot you want, how many people will be in it, and what days/times you are available. I will also want to know where you would like to take the photos, or if you would like me to choose a location. 

Once we figure out a time and place for the photos, I will email an invoice for the deposit to secure your photo session. Deposit payment must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice, or the photo session may be cancelled (see below for deposit, rescheduling and cancellation policies).

Then the fun part! When we meet up for your photo shoot, we will go over how to get great shots, how to pose and make the best out of your photo session! 

Then the exciting part- your photos! I will email you the gallery with your photos, and they are all yours to do what you like! You can order prints directly from your gallery! Or feel free to get prints from anywhere else you like, order Christmas cards, post on social media- they are all yours! Typical turnaround time for photo gallery delivery is generally 1-2 weeks, but may take up to 3 weeks during busier times. 

What should we wear?

After scheduling a photo session, I will email you a style guide that will help you to look and feel your best for your photos!

How are the photos delivered to me?

Once editing is complete, I will email a link to your image gallery. You can download all of the photos from the gallery, as well as share the gallery with friends and family to download for themselves! The price of the photo session includes unlimited downloads of the provided images for up to 2 months. 

If you would like to order high quality prints through Tula June Photography, you can order directly from your online gallery by clicking on the shopping cart icon.               

 

What payment do you accept?

You will receive an invoice for the deposit ($80) when scheduling the photo session. Payment can be made online through the invoice with with a debit or credit card (even if you do not have a PayPal account), or a check can be mailed. The remainder of the invoice can be paid with cash or check at the photo shoot, or online through the same invoice after the photo shoot. Full payment must be received before the photo gallery is delivered. 

What are your policies regarding canceling/rescheduling/photo delivery/editing/etc?

 DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

An $80 Deposit is due within 48 hours of receiving this invoice to secure the date and time of your photo shoot. If the deposit is not received in this time, Tula June Photography LLC may cancel the session. 

 

Full payment of the invoice must be made prior to the release of the photos.

 

CANCELLATION

If a photo session is cancelled 48 hours or less prior to the scheduled photo shoot time, the deposit will not be returned. 

If a photo session is cancelled less than 7 days, but more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled photo shoot time, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.  

RESCHEDULING

If a photo shoot is rescheduled 48 hours or less prior to the scheduled photo shoot time, a $25 rescheduling fee will be charged and will be due before a time and date is held for the new photo shoot.

If a photo session is rescheduled less than 7 days, but more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled photo shoot time, there will be no charge to reschedule, if this is the first time. The second time a request is made to reschedule a photo shoot less than 7 days, but more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled photo shoot time, a $25 rescheduling fee will be charged and will be due before a time and date is held for the new photo shoot.

If a photo session needs to be rescheduled due to natural disasters or weather, such as heavy snow, heavy wind, rain or unsafe driving conditions, the rescheduling fee may be waived at the discretion of Tula June Photography LLC. 

 

LIMIT OF LIABILITY: 

In the unlikely event that the assigned photographer from Tula June Photography LLC is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of Tula June Photography LLC, Tula June Photography LLC will make an effort to secure a replacement. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the photo shoot OR a rescheduled session. Refunds will not be provided after a photo session is complete. If a client is unsatisfied with the outcome of the photos, an opportunity for a re-do session may be arranged at the discretion and availability of Tula June Photography LLC. The offer of a re-do session is void if any of the photos have been downloaded from the online gallery.

 

CAPTURE AND DELIVERY: 

Tula June Photography LLC is not liable to deliver every image taken during the photo shoot. The determination of images delivered to the client is left to the discretion of Tula June Photography LLC. Images from the photo shoot may be displayed on Tula June Photography LLC's website, Instagram or Facebook pages. If you prefer for images to not be shared, please inform Tula June Photography LLC, and images will not be shared.  

Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive your online photo gallery.  

 

POST PRODUCTION AND EDITING: 

The final post production and editing styles, effects, and overall look of the images are left to the discretion of Tula June Photography LLC. Editing is generally limited to exposure and color adjustment and minor adjustments, such as decreasing visibility of acne, etc. "Photoshopping" is not included in the services, including, but not limited to removing individuals or objects from photos or altering the weight or height of individuals.

 

Tula June Photography LLC will not provide clients with un-edited or RAW images. Clients may not edit or alter the appearance of received photos, with the exception of printing a black and white photo from a color image.

 

In the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond Tula June Photography LLC's control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction, Tula June Photography LLC's liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the photo shoot. The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of total number of originals. Tula June Photography LLC is not liable for the loss of images beyond the date of the final delivery of images in the online gallery.
